Soha Ali Khan (Hindi: सोहा अली खान, Bengali:, born, Soha Ali Khan Pataudi, on 4 October 1978) is an Indian actress who works in Bollywood films.
Early life
Khan was born into the of the Royal Family of Pataudi. Both her father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the current Nawab, and paternal grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, are former captains of the Indian cricket team. Her mother, Sharmila Tagore, is a film actress and a distant relative of Bengali Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Her brother Saif Ali Khan is also a Bollywood actor and her sister Saba Ali Khan is a jewellery designer. She attended The British School in New Delhi and Balliol College, Oxford.
Career
Before embarking upon her film career, Khan worked for the Ford Foundation and Citibank. She is involved in a range of activities outside the acting world, including serving on the Advisory Board for a new project of the public entrepreneur group, Res Publica. She has also recently modelled for the spring-summer collection of Globus, an Indian chain of boutiques.
Khan made her acting debut with the Bollywood film Dil Maange More (2004), where she shared credits with Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Tulip Joshi. She has since received critical acclaim for her performances in the Bengali film Antar Mahal (2005) and Rang De Basanti (2006). Khoya Khoya Chand, earned her critical acclaim, although it was not successful at the box office. Her latest release 99 was a critical and commercial success and her performance was acclaimed. Her next release Tum Mile also received a positive review. Khan also hosted a show called Godrej Khelo Jeeto Jiyo on Star Plus.

Konkona Sen Sharma

Konkona Sen Sharma (Bengali:Kôngkôna Shen Shôrma, Hindi: कोंकणा सेन शर्मा), born 3 December 1979, is an Indian actress. She is the daughter of filmmaker Aparna Sen. Sharma appears primarily in Indian arthouse and independent films, and her achievements in the genre have established her as one of the leading actresses of contemporary parallel cinema.

Making her debut as a child artist in the film Indira (1983), Sharma debuted as an adult in the Bengali thriller Ek Je Aachhe Kanya (2000). She first gained attention with the English-language film Mr. and Mrs. Iyer (2002), which was directed by her mother, and received the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film. Her appearance in the drama (2005) got her wider recognition from audiences, and she has since starred in a number of films, most of which have garnered her critical praise rather than commercial success. She won two consecutive Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Awards for her performances in Omkara (2006) and Life in a... Metro (2007), respectively. Her performance in the former won her a second National Award under the Best Supporting Actress category.
Early life
Sen Sharma is the daughter of Mukul Sharma (a science writer and journalist) and Aparna Sen (an actress and film director). She also has an older sibling Kamalini Chatterjee.Sen Sharma's maternal grandfather, Chidananda Dasgupta, is a film critic, scholar, professor, writer and one of the co-founders of the Calcutta Film Society. Her grandmother Supriya Dasgupta is a cousin of legendary modern Bengali poet Jibanananda Das.
Sen Sharma has a degree in English from St. Stephen's College, Delhi which she received in 2001. She was a student of the Modern High School for Girls, Calcutta, as well as the Calcutta International School.
Early career
Sen Sharma made her debut as a child artist in the film Indira (1983). In 2000, she made her adult debut in Bengali film Ek Je Aachhe Kanya, in which she played a negative character. It was followed by a role in Rituparno Ghosh's acclaimed film Titli, opposite Mithun Chakraborty and her mother Aparna Sen.
She became a known face when she starred in the English-language film Mr. and Mrs. Iyer, directed by Aparna Sen. The film performed well mainly in multiplexes and was a major success with critics. Sen Sharma's performance as a Tamil housewife and her mastery of this accent were received well and she was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress.This was followed by the National Film Award-winning social film, Page 3 (2005).Her role of a smart journalist drew praise and she became a more familiar face to the movie-going public.
Turning point, 2005-present
Sen Sharma was offered the lead role in Mira Nair's Hollywood film, The Namesake (2007) but, owing to clashing dates with 15 Park Avenue, she could not commit to the project.[7] But she followed it up with another acclaimed performances as a mentally ill woman in 15 Park Avenue (2005) and middle age village woman in Omkara (2006). For the latter, she received the both Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award and National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her next release Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante (2006) got average reviews. In 2006, Sen Sharma made her directorial debut with an 18-minute Bengali short film[8] Naamkoron (Naming Ceremony) for the Kala Ghoda Film Festival.[9]
Following this, Sen Sharma acted in Dosar, a Bengali art film by Rituporno Ghosh, which premiered at several international film festivals. She won the Best Actress award at Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council (MIAAC) Film Festival for this film
Her first release of 2007 was her second collaboration with Madhur Bhandarkar, a noir film named Traffic Signal, in which she played a street prostitute.Her second released film of 2007, Anurag Basu's Life in a... Metro, was released to good reviews and performed well at the Indian box office.The film depicted the life of different individuals in Mumbai, and Sen Sharma's performance as a young and insecure woman earned her a second Filmfare Award.

In late 2007, Sen Sharma acted in two movies under the Yash Raj Films banner. She noted her excitement toward these two projects as these were the first films in which she had to lip-sync for songs. In the first one, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, a drama directed by Pradeep Sarkar, she portrayed the character of a Banaras small town young woman, Chutki, alongside Rani Mukerji. The film was a critical and commercial failure in India, even though her performance was received well. The second one was Aaja Nachle, which was widely promoted as the comeback film of Madhuri Dixit. The film did not do well. Rajeev Masand from CNN-IBN noted her performance in the film as being "...nothing short of fantastic. Her greatest strength is that she isn't afraid of making a fool of herself and she doesn't worry about being laughed at. As a result, her performance in Aaja Nachle is fearless and uninhibited."
In 2008, Sen Sharma starred in Dil Kabaddi. She starred in a short film (How Can It Be?) directed by Mira Nair for a movie project called 8, which was screened at several film festivals in 2008 before having a theatrical release.
In 2009, she appeared in the low-budget English-language film The President Is Coming, directed by Kunaal Roy Kapur. The film opened to generally positive reviews. Reviews were favorably directed toward her. Nikhat Kazmi from The Times of India wrote, "Performance-wise, it's the uptight and complex-ridden Ms Konkona who walks away with laurels and laughs even as the film takes a healthy snigger at the desi self."[15]

Sen Sharma next starred in Zoya Akhtar's Luck by Chance, opposite Farhan Akhtar.[16] Upon release, the film met with highly positive reviews from critics, as did her performance, but did not perform as expected at the box office.[17][18] Sen Sharma's latest 2009 release was Ayan Mukerjee's romantic comedy Wake Up Sid in which she starred alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Upon release, the film received universally positive reviews,and her performance received rave reviews. Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama wrote, "Konkona is natural to the core and the best part is, she's so effortless. Here's another winning performance from this incredible performer." New York Times wrote, "Ms. Sharma has made a specialty of characters like Aisha: independent urban women, whose dreams involve careers as well as love. Her Aisha is a nuanced creation — ambitious, sympathetic, believable — and Mr. Mukerji, making his directing debut, is right to let her run away with the film."

In 2010, Sen Sharma starred in Ashwani Dheer's comedy Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge opposite Ajay Devgan and Paresh Rawal.Her latest release was Neeraj Pathak's Right Yaa Wrong where she played a lawyer.
She also has completed shooting for Rituparno Ghosh's comedy film Sunglass and Vinay Shukla's Mirch. As of September 2009, Sen Sharma plays the leading role in Aparna Sen's Iti Mrinaliniwhich is targeted to release in June 2010.[ will also appear in Amitabh Verma's untitled film opposite Ranvir Shorey, Sabyasachi Mukherjee's directorial debut film, alongside Prateek Babbar and Vidya Balan and Basu Chatterjee's next.Sen Sharma was also cast for Aditya Chopra's next Mumbai, which is based on the world famous 2008 Mumbai Terrorist Attacks alongside Arjun Rampal, Shahid Kapoor, Rani Mukherji and Esha Deol.

Gracy Singh

Gracy Singh born on (20 July 1980 in Delhi, India), is an Indian actress, from Punjab. She is best known for her role as Gauri in Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India. She began her career touring with the dance group "The Planets" and her first acting role was in the television soap, Amanat. She then got an acting role in the film Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain (as Kajol's younger sister) and also in Hu Tu Tu. This finally led her to her role opposite Aamir Khan in Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India where she played a village belle. Zarine Khan (born 25 May 1984 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian actress and model who appears in Bollywood films. She started her acting career in 2010 with the film Veer, starring Salman Khan.She has been noted for looking very similar to actress and model Katrina Kaif.
Early life
Khan was born to a Muslim Pashtun family in Mumbai. In college she weighed almost 100 kg (220 lb). Although she never planned to be model, she began to focus on losing weight and getting into shape upon the urging of a cousin. She gave up sweets and started going to the gym, eventually losing a large amount of weight. Her family's financial troubles forced Khan to abandon her education and begin working. With no marketable skills, she tried her hand at modeling. Khan did a number of small assignments that fetched her enough money to run her family's house.
Acting career
Khan's acting career began while visiting the set of Yuvraaj at Subhash Ghai's film school Whistling Woods. Salman Khan noticed her and decided to cast her for his film Veer because, he said, "She looks the character - the sweet princess she is playing in Veer".After a screen test, Khan was given the role of Princess Yashodhara. She gained eight kilograms in order to be more convincing as a 19th century princess.

Kunal Kapoor

Kunal Kapoor is a former Indian film actor of British and Indian descent. He is the eldest son of Shashi Kapoor and the late Jennifer Kendal.
Family background
Kunal was born in the famous Kapoor family, particularly known for having produced several generations of popular actors and actresses. His paternal grandfather was Prithviraj Kapoor. his paternal uncles are Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor. His younger brother Karan Kapoor and sister Sanjana Kapoor have also acted in some films but like him they were not very successful. His maternal grandparents Geoffrey Kendal and Laura Kendal were actors who toured India and Asia with their theatre group, Shakespeareana, performing Shakespeare and Shaw. The Merchant Ivory film, Shakespeare Wallah, was loosely based on the family, which starred his father and his aunt, the actress Felicity Kendal.

He was married to Sheena Sippy, daughter of film director Ramesh Sippy, they have two children, Zahan Prithviraj Kapoor & Shaira Laura Kapoor.

Actor
Kunal mostly acted in his father's films. He made his debut with the 1972 English-language film Siddhartha in which he played the son of the title character played by his father. He then appeared in Shyam Benegal's critically acclaimed 1978 film Junoon which also featured his father, mother and both his siblings. In 1981 he appeared in his first mainstream Bollywood film titled Ahista Ahista opposite Padmini Kolhapure. The film was a box office hit but it failed to launch his career. In 1982 he once again featured alongside his father in the much acclaimed Vijeta. After that he appeared in the controversial art film Utsav (1984), and Trikaal (1985).

Director and producer
In 1987, Kunal set up his own company, Adfilm-Valas, and started producing and directing television commercials. One of this memorable creations was the "Dream Lover" series for Bombay Dyeing, starring his brother, Karan. Since then, he has directed more than 800 television commercials and is considered one of the better adfilm directors in India.[citation needed] He is particularly known for his large scale formats, action, glamour and humour. Of late, most of the successful car commercials in India have been produced and directed by Kunal[citation needed].

Adfilm-Valas has also line-produced for many international feature films and adfilms shot in India. Notably, the credit sequence of the film City of Joy, and the French films Le Cactus (2005) and Fire in Paradise.

Kunal Kapoor, along with his father, Shashi Kapoor are the Trustees of the Shri Prithviraj Kapoor Memorial Trust & Research Foundation, which owns and runs Prithvi Theatre in Juhu, Mumbai ( set up and built by Shashi Kapoor and his wife Jennifer Kapoor ). The Prithvi Theatre, now managed by Kunal’s younger sister Sanjna Kapoor, aims to promote professional Indian theatre, develop new theatre talent and audience, and be a centre of inspiration for Theatre and the performing arts.

Kunal Sharik Kheemu (better known as his stage name Kunal Khemu) (Hindi: कुणाल खेमू, born in 12 May 1983 in Srinagar, India) is an Indian Bollywood actor.
Early life and education
Kunal Khemu was born in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir in 1983 to a Kashmiri Pandit family of actors, Ravi and Jyoti Khemu. Subsequently in 1990 when he seven years old, his family moved to Delhi and finally to Mumbai, where he grew up in the Mira Road suburb of Mumbai, and studied in the Niranjanlal Dalmia High School, passing in 1999. He did his graduation from Narsee Monjee College,He studied in a school named Dalmia International school in Mira road Mumbai.

Career
Kunal had started his career as a child actor appearing in the Doordarshan TV series, Gul Gulshan Gulfaam (1987) directed by Ved Rahi and made his film debut with Mahesh Bhatt's movie Sir (1993), starring Naseeruddin Shah and Pooja Bhatt as leads.

Later on, he went on to appear as a child actor in films such as Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), Raja Hindustani (1996), Tamanna and Mahesh Bhatt's autobiographical film, Zakhm (1998). He received great praises by the audience and critics for his role in Zakhm, where he played young Bhatt. However, after Zakhm, now a entering class Xth having done Zakhm during his vacations, decided to take a break from films for the next six years to complete his education.

He made his debut as a leading man in the 2005 film Kalyug producded by Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt.His 2007 releases Madhur Bhandarkar's Traffic Signal and Dhol were moderately successful at the box office.

His first 2008 release Superstar didn't do well at the box office, but nevertheless, he continued getting popular. His latest movie were Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge, Jai and Veeru and 99.

Dr. Aditi Gowitrikar (born May 21,1976) is an Indian model, actress and a doctor. She won Gladrags Megamodel, and the Mrs. World contest in 2001, and most recently appeared in reality television series, Bigg Boss (Season 3).

Gowitrikar is originally a doctor by profession.She started her career as a model after winning the Gladrags Mega Model contest in 1996 won the “best body” and “best face” prizes in Asian Super Model Contest in 1997. She modeled for companies such as Ponds and appeared in TV commercials for Coca Cola while working as a ramp model in Mumbai. In 2000, Gowitrikar participated in the Gladrags Mrs. India 2000 contest where she won and was subsequently sent to Mrs. World 2001 held in Las Vegas where she won again.

Since winning Mrs. World 2001, Gowitrikar continued modeling and also has appeared in minor roles in a number of Bollywood and South Indian films. She has acted in the Hindi TV serial "Ye Meri Life Hai" and participated in reality television series such Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi (2008) hosted by Akshay Kumar, and the most recently in the reality television series, Bigg Boss (Season 3) (2009).

Personal life
Gowitrikar has a younger sister, Kirtan (Arzoo) Gowitrikar, who works as an actress. She also has a younger brother Alpan (Mausam) Gowitrikar who is 9 years younger than her and is her personal assistant.

Gowitrikar was married to Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala and they have 2 kids together. The couple separated in early 2009 and have filed for divorce.

Early life
Joshi was born in Mumbai to a Gujarati Indian father and an Armenian mother who was born in Lebanon and moved to India. She was brought up in Mumbai where she attended the Jamnabai Narsee School, and later Mithibai College from where she graduated majoring food science and chemistry. She excelled in sports, competing in athletics at the National level. She has two sisters, Selphi and Monalisa. Her sister Monalisa is married to Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi. She has a nephew, Vivann, and niece, Vera.

Tulip entered the Femina Miss India in 2000. She did not make it to the list of winners, but was noticed by many advertising agencies. She appeared in a number of advertising campaigns for big brands (Ponds, Pepsi, Siyaram, BPL, Smirnoff etc.). She also appeared in a video made as a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. tulips name was changed

Film career
Tulip entered movies quite by chance. She was a friend of the bride of Aditya Chopra, the son of director Yash Chopra. The family noticed her at their wedding and asked her to appear for an audition, following which they cast her in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.

Not being fluent in Hindi, she trained in Hindi diction and in acting at Feroze Khan’s studio. She was also advised by the film-makers to change her name to something more Indian, as audiences might have difficulty in accepting a heroine with such an unconventional name. She chose the name Sanjana, she was playing the character of Anjali in that film.

The film was quite a success Despite the good reviews and success, Tulip was heavily panned for her acting.

After a two-year hiatus, she reappeared in Matrubhoomi - a dark film about a futuristic world with almost no women. Her performance in it was praised and established her credibility as an actress.Dhoka movie also gave her some recognition.

Reverting to her given name, Tulip next appeared in the Telugu film Villain. Her next Hindi movie was Dil Maange More with Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Soha Ali Khan. The film got average reviews but it was not a box office success.

She appeared in her first Punjabi film in 2009 called "Jag Jeondeyan De Mele" with famous Punjabi singer and actor, Harbhajan Mann.[citation needed]

Early life and background
Pooja Batra was born to Ravi Batra, an army colonel who was wounded in the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. Her mother, Neelam Batra was a former Miss India participant in 1971. She did her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where she enjoyed sports, debates and plays. She was a good athlete who competed in the 200 and 400 meter dash.

She majored in Economics at the Fergusson College, Pune. She also attained her MBA in marketing from Symbiosis College, Pune.She is tall, stands 5'9". She dated actor, Akshay Kumar for some time. She has two twin brothers.

Career
Early career
At a young age, she started modeling as a part-time job. She was best known for her Liril soap commercial. She was the first Indian face to launch and be a spokesperson for Head and Shoulders in India. As a model she has participated in over 250 events and ad campaigns. She shot to fame when she was crowned Miss India in 1993. She went on to become one of the top models in India. She walked the ramp for over 250 fashion shows in India and overseas. She is an ambassador for Parag Sarees.

She has played the lead role in over 20 films. One of her films, Taj Mahal, a historical epic, was shown at the Cannes film festival in 2004. Pooja turned down many offers to complete her education before signing a contract with the Virasat Film Studio. She is the life member of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy Of Film & Television, Noida. In 1995 she did a cameo in a Tamil film called Aasai.

Later career
The first film she signed was Virasat in 1997. She worked in over 21 films including Haseena Maan Jayegi, Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya and Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaye.

Batra also worked in Malayalam films, majority of them being with Megastars Mohanlal and Mamootty. She also did two Tamil films. She also did theater and toured North America which got her considerable acclaim. She recently appeared at the 2009 Academy Awards in Los Angeles, where she reunited with co-star of Virasat, Anil Kapoor.

Personal life
Batra is married to an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Sonu Ahluwalia, and lives in Los Angeles, California. She also has houses in Mumbai and Los Angeles.

Philanthropy
Batra has volunteered time and money to charitable causes including AIDS (Mukti Foundation), homeless children, the Bombay Police Department and injured soldiers in the Kashmir war.

She did pro bono work in the film, My Little Devil (Bas Yari Rakho) subtitled in Hindi, English and French to raise funds for the poor children in India. The film was co-produced by NFDC-La Fete (Canada) and directed by Gopi Desai. The film was screened at the 24th Annual Montreal World Film Festival, 2000; Chicago International Children's Film Festival, 2000; 10th Annual Philadelphia Film Festival of World Cinema, 2001 and the Indian Film Festival in Malaysia, 2005.

While still in high school, Sawant was offered a small dancing part in the film Joru Ka Ghulam. Deepal Shaw (born 21 February 1986), is an Indian actress, model who works in Bollywood movies.
Early life
Shaw was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to parents originally from Uttar Pradesh. She studied in D.P.Y.A. High School, Dadar. Her mother was born in Lucknow, while her father was born in Ayodhya. She has a younger brother.

As a child, her parents encouraged her to sing, first giving her lessons when she was only six years old.

She attended St. Xavier's College, where she pursued a BA in Psychology.[1]

Music career
Shaw began her career as a model, taking part in the 2004 Miss India beauty pageant, advancing to the final round before being cut.[2] After this setback, she rededicated herself to striving for success in the Indian entertainment industry, beginning a career as a singer.

She released her first album (entitled Baby Doll, after her adopted stage name) in 2004. She followed up her strong debut with Baby Doll Chapter 2, featuring many hit remixes such as "Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar" and "Rangeela Re."

Her music consists mainly of modernized remixes of old Hindi songs, entailing a very bass-heavy sound with some hip hop elements. She is currently on Saregama India Records. MTV India has largely been responsible for promoting her music, by playing her sexy and extremely popular music videos.

Film career
Riding the waves of her burgeoning music career, Shaw decided to parlay her success into a career in Bollywood. She signed on to act in Hriday Shetty's Daag - The Shades of Love. However, the project was shelved shortly thereafter.[3]

She made her acting debut in Mahesh Bhatt's controversial Kalyug, opposite Emraan Hashmi and fellow-newcomer Kunal Khemu. Portraying a porn star, Shaw's first role was generally appreciated by critics.

In December 2005, she finished filming on her second venture, Karma, Confessions and Holi, directed by Manish Gupta. The international, English-language film also stars Sushmita Sen, Randeep Hooda, and Naomi Campbell, and is set for release in 2009.

She is currently working on Tumse, co-starring Irrfan Khan.

Biography
Prachi was born in Gujarat, India. She studied in St Joseph Convent, Panchgani and completed her schooling till 9th grade in Surat. Then she went to Pune for higher studies. She studied in Pune in Sinhagad College. Her first film was Rock On!!, where she played the wife of Farhan Akhtar. Prachi had to leave her very successful role of "Bani" in Kasam Se to act in Rock On. Her next movie was Life Partner. She is currently working on Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, a film to be released in July 2010. It stars Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut. Prachi Desai is currently working on her 4th movie called Main...Joker.Its stars popular television actor Rajeev Khandelwal opposite her and the movie is set to release around January 2011CareerActing was her passion since childhood - her father and uncle had done various Gujarati plays - but she started with a short modelling workshop. Kasamh Se
Kasamh Se is the serial that Prachi Desai starred in and got her fame on Zee TV. She has captured many a hearts with this program acting as innocent but strong willed Bani Dixit (now Bani Walia). Prachi left Kasamh Se on 15 April 2008 and was replaced by Gurdeep Kohli after being burnt and drowned in episode 564. Kasamh Se ended 12 March
2009. In the last episode, Prachi Desai made a special appearance as the former Bani. Kasautii Zindagii Kay was aired on Star Plus which was a TV serial in which Prachi did a cameo for 2 days as a school student in Prerna's school. Prachi Desai was her character name in Kasauti Zindagi Ki. In the serial she works as a student who tries to go with her lover far away without the permission of her parents and was caught by the show's heroine who complains this to her and her lover's parents.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2
Prachi then entered Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the Indian version of America's dancing show "Dancing With The Stars", on 7 September 2007 with choreographer Deepak Singh. Prachi impressed the judges every week, but was ultimately eliminated on 10 November 2007. However, she entered the contest again via the Wildcard entry on 23 November 2007. Prachi then landed a spot in the Grand Finale of the dance show on 15 December 2007 and won the 1st place amongst the contestants. Prachi Desai was awarded the Dancing star of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2. However it has been alleged that she was made to return as a wild card entry in spite of her elimination due to a direct intervention from her close personal friend Ekta Kapoor which compelled the producers of the show to change the international format of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

It was later announced by Sony Entertainment Television Asia that Prachi would compete in a tribute show to Jhalak competition called Dard-e-Disco alongside with other former Jhalak contestants which aired on Sony Entertainment Television Asia on 31 December 2007.

Priyanka Kothari

Priyanka Kothari (Hindi: प्रियंका कोठारी Bengali: ; born 30 November 1983), often credited as Nisha Kothari (Hindi: निशा कोठारी Bengali:) or Amoha, is an Indian actress who has appeared in Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. She is best known for her item numbers.
Early Life
Kothari was born in Kolkata to a Marwari Jain family and grew up speaking Bengali, Gujurati, English and Hindi. She moved to New Delhi while in grade 10 and got her degree in Chemistry from Delhi University at Dayal Singh College. Her father is a chemical businessman, her mother a home-maker, and she has a married elder sister.
Career
After college, Kothari became a model and appeared in a number of advertisement campaigns. In 2003, she got her big break through actor Madhavan, who recommended her for an audition in his film after viewing her photographs. She made her acting debut with him in the Tamil film Jay Jay, credited as Amoga. She made her Bollywood debut in the 2005 film Sarkar and then later that same year appeared in James, both directed by Ram Gopal Varma. She then went on to do The Killer with Emraan Hashmi. Since then since had appeared in less significant films and roles. Her most recent release was Agyaat.

Kothari is the member of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy Of Film & Television.

Shilpa Anand

Shilpa Anand (born Shilpa Shivanand on 10 December 1983, Hindi:, Kannada :), is a Television and Movie actress. She is the younger sister of Sakshi Shivanand, a popular actress hailing from Karnataka.
Personal Life
Shilpa Anand was born in South Africa, and did her schooling there. After completing her education, she shifted to India along with her family and then she started her acting career in Mumbai. In terms of education, Shilpa Anand has five years of experience in all phases of the Software Development lifecycle. She has expertise in Java/J2EE application development and has been working in the E-Learning domain. She has worked for clients within the Healthcare, Travel, Learning Management, and Performance Management Systems field. She studied at the Punjab University MCA, obtaining a Masters in Computer Applications, from 2000 to 2003.

Career
Before her first movie, Shilpa did many adverts on television with many famous bollywood actors such as: Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan etc. [1].

She started her career with Bollywood movie Iqaar By Chance. She rose to stardom when she starred in the television the series Dill Mill Gaye, in which she used to play the lead protagonist of Dr. Riddhima Gupta which made her a popular face of the TV world. Her Role and acting was appreciated and she was nominated at several Awards ceremony in Best Actress category for her role in the show such as New Talent Awards in 2008. She won the award alongside Karan Singh Grover for the best onscreen couple in August 2008. Her contract with the production house ended in June 2008 and this consequenced her leaving the show and her role of Dr. Riddhima Gupta.[2]. Her good height,acting skills and pretty looks are really cherished.

In March 2010, Shilpa did interview with Star News where she directly replied to her fans on Facebook and talked about her future career. There were talks in March 2010 that Shilpa would be returning to Dill Mill Gayye,[3].

Shilpa Anand returned to Dill Mill Gayye in June 2010. After two years of absence and producer's insistence she signed a contract for her return in the show in May 2010.[4]

Antara Mali (Hindi: अंतरा माली, pronounced [əŋt(ə)raː ˈmaːliː]) is an Indian actress who stars in Bollywood films. On 12 June 2009, she got secretly wedded to Che Kurien, the editor of GQ magazine.

Antara Mali was born in Gajraula, UP to photographer Jagdish Mali.
Career
Mali made her acting debut in the 1999 film Prema Katha which was directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Varma became Mali's frequent collaborator. Although Mali was critically acclaimed for her performances in each of her films, she discontinued her acting career after production of her last film (Mr Ya Miss which she had also written and directed) was received poorly and critically panned. Mali paid her tribute to Madhuri Dixit by playing an aspiring actress inspired by Madhuri in the movie Main Madhuri Diixit Banna Chahti Hoon.

Namrata Shirodkar

Namrata Shirodkar (born 22 January 1972 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian actress. Her sister is the actress Shilpa Shirodkar. She is the granddaughter of famous Marathi actress Meenakshi Shirodkar, who starred in Brahmachari (1930s), and was the first actress to wear a swimsuit and gambol in a pool, albeit to depict Lord Krishna bathing in the Yamuna river with his gopis.
Born in a moderate Marathi-speaking family, Namrata Shirodkar is an Aquarian, born on 22 January 1972. She used to live in Khar, an elite suburb in Mumbai. In addition she is a model, and has been crowned Miss India in 1993. Namrata finished amongst the top six at Miss Universe in 1993. She was also chosen as the 1st runner up for Miss Asia Pacific during 1993.

She has played mainly supporting roles in films. Films like Pukar, Hera Pheri and Astitva went on to do well.Since then her films have not done well at the box office. She was nominated for the IIFA Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in Pukar.
In 2004 she went back into the spotlight when she played the role of Jaya Bakshi in Bride and Prejudice. She played Aishwarya Rai's elder sister in the film. The film was a hit overseas particularly in the UK but failed to do well in India.She has since left the industry after her marriage.

She began dating Tollywood actor, Mahesh Babu in 2000 after the filming of Vamsee.They married on 10 February 2005. Shirodkar now lives in Hyderabad with her husband.Their first child, a boy named Gautam Krishna Gattamaneni was born on 31 August 2006.

Yukta Mookhey (born 7 October 1979) is an Indian model and actress.She was crowned Miss World in December 1999 at the Olympia theatre in London.
Mookhey's family is from northern India, but she and her family lived in the Middle East until Mookhey was seven years of age. The Mookhey family migrated back to Mumbai (then Bombay) in June 1986. runs a personal and professional grooming consulting firm in Mumbai, while her father was a clothing company director and currently trades in stocks as a hobby. Mookhey studied zoology at Kelkar college prior to winning the Miss World competition. Yukta and Prince Tulli were engaged on September 7, 2008 at the Grand Maratha in Mumbai. Prince is the son of Bacchitar Singh Tuli and Harinder Kaur Tuli. The marriage, held on November 2, 2008, was a traditional 'Sikh' ceremony in a Nagpur Gurudwara followed by a reception the same evening. They have one son together.
